AUPAIR IN SOUTH AFRICA

There is always a demand for aupairs and those with a qualification are highly valued. Families will give preference to applicants with childminding/aupair certificate.

REQUIREMENTS

Age Bar : Between 18 and 24, females, single
Education : Passed year 12 or higher. Also year 10 completion will be allowed if followed by other studies or practical childcare experience.
Childcare Experience : Minimum 50 hours but up to 200 hours is preferred.
Period of Commitment :  12 months placement all year round.
Visa  : 12 month aupair visa.

AUPAIRS MUST

1. Work 30-40 hours per week depending on the family requirement.
2. Childcare and light household works which could include shopping, dusting, vacuuming, ironing.
3.  2 evenings baby sitting.
4. Be a non smoker
5. Have a valid driving license
6. Be willing and able to adapt to another culture
7. Have a good sense of responsibility and a positive attitude.
